  • What is a home inspection?

    A home inspection is performed so you can learn about the property that you are about to purchase.  It gives you the information you need to make an informed decision about your newest investment.  A home inspection is a non-bias review of all the visible and readily accessible conditions and defects our property at the time of the inspection.

  • How long does our home inspection take?

    A home inspection can take anywhere from two to three hours or more on the average size home it truly depends on how many things that we find that may be wrong, barriers that we face during the inspection, weather, and  condition of the home we do not like to rush during our inspections we want to give you the best home inspection experience we can.

  • Do you need to attend our inspection?

    It is not required for you to attend the inspection although we highly recommend it and enjoy when our clients are at the inspection so we can educate you about the home and answer any questions you may have in real time.  Sometimes it's easy to understand defects if you can see them instead of just on a picture or video,  but we understand the demand of today's lifestyles.   We know that sometimes it's difficult to attend inspection.  We provide a very detailed and information packed inspection report to help guide you through your decision. Often people come the last half hour, 45 minutes of the inspection this way the inspector can inspect the home without any distraction and then can give you a good on-site summary and walk you through the issues that we find but, truly we appreciate the attendance

  • What is included in your inspection reports?

    Your home inspection report is packed full of information about your home like age and serial numbers of equipment, types of equipment functionality and performance defects that are found during inspection. we color code our inspection report make it easier for you to understand.  A legend is provided with the report to help you decipher what's important and what's commonly found change the software that we use is the best home inspection software in the industry providing you with quality photos explanations and videos.

  • How is our home inspection report delivered?

    Our reports are delivered via email and are HTML based reports they can also produce high-quality PDFs but don't worry we're always available to go through the report with you in depth make sure that you are comfortable with your decision.

  • How much does all this cost?

    The cost of the home inspection is based on a criteria that we put together to be fair to the consumer and to us.   We price our inspections based on the size of the home, condition, year built, and type of inspection. We believe that we are affordable inspection company because we provide a great value, call for a free no obligation quote.

  • What if you find mold or something that looks like mold during inspection can you help us?

    Of course, we can help you being a New York state licensed home inspection company, in addition we are also New York State licensed mold assessment company, We can test for mold on-site and have information from our accredited lab back to you in less than 72 hours if you elect this service (There are additional charges for Mold Assessments. In addition, we also provide water testing, sewer scopes, air quality and other types of Home Inspection Services to give you a full comprehensive experience.   • Should the utilities be on?

    It is truly the best inspection experience when all the utilities are on. We can provide you a more analytical overview of your home if all utilities are on and accessible.  We do have some options that are available in case the water is off like pressure testing the system but this cannot be done at all homes It depends on the configuration we make that decision when we are on site.



  • Do inspectors walk the roof?

    We walk all roofs that are safe to walk.  This is a home inspection of a home that you do not own yet, so we cannot put the proper rigging on top of the roofs find to climb dangerous roofs.  We do make every attempt to climb the roof however we have technology that helps us in cases where we cannot climb on top of the roof.

  • Do we always inspect air-conditioning systems?

    Air conditioning systems cannot be tested if the ambient outside temperature is below 65 degrees. We do a visual inspection and if it's an concern for you we recommend that you speak to her attorney about putting money in escrow.  If we run this system it may be damaged.

  • Are your inspectors Licensed?

    All of our inspectors are licensed in New York state as well as certified by the International Association of certified home inspectors and other trade organizations Inspectors attend mandatory and elective continuing education annually to keep up-to-date all current building science and construction methods to give you the best inspection experience.

  • Are you insured?

    We are insured we carry an errors and omissions insurance.

  • Is the inspection warrantied or guaranteed?

    While a home inspection is an inspection of the home at the current time that the inspection is performed, we give you a complementary warranty package that warranties the inspection items for different time periods based on the item.  This will be explained to you during your inspection process.


    In our opinion we have one great warranty that really surpasses everyone else!
